Job Title - Trainee office administrator
Business Unit - Electrical
Working Hours - 8 hrs per day
Lunch - 30 Minutes
Reporting to - Project Manager
Salary - TBC
Positions reporting to job holders - N/A

Overview and main responsibilities

The job of the trainee office administrator is to prepare work packs for the site teams, assist with the logging of PPE and equipment, assist the customer service team by taking phone calls from customers and log messages with the relevant department.  

The long-term opportunity for this position is to move into a managerial position in one of the departments within the business. Operations, Customer Service or Design.

 

Key Outcomes/accountabilities

·       Responsible for the creation of daily work packs.

·       Responsible for quality checks on daily paperwork returns.

·       Assist the office team with data input.

·       Working in an outdoor environment

 

Education and Training

·       National 4 qualification in 3 subjects, preferably administration and English

·       Training will be provided in Excel, and Microsoft packages. Also Manual handling, Fire warden, risk assessment.

 

Experience Required

·       Willingness to learn new skills.

 

Skills

·       Be able to communicate effectively.

·       Be confident talking on the telephone.
